A manual for the rural development of the state is expected to be issued by the state government soon.
The manual will be made available to all state governments.
In the first three months of the financial year, the government will allocate Rs 1,100 crore for rural development.
The manual would be used to monitor progress in the rural areas, according to a release issued by state environment minister Jitendra Singh.
It would also include a roadmap for the state to ensure that the rural economy has its due share in the development of other parts of the country, such as the National Capital Region.
