I had a good time.
I spent a lot of time with people from different backgrounds and different walks of life.
As an immigrant, I learned a lot about the culture and people of America.
One thing I learned was that America is great because of people like me.
I’m proud to be a citizen of America, but also to be an American who is proud of our country.
A lot of people have said, I’m not even American.
My country is a wonderful place to be, but we are not great.
That’s why I’m asking for your help.
I need your help to raise money to help me start a new nonprofit organization called Rural Leadership Development Corporations (RLDDC).
I need a new name for this nonprofit.
What do I need to say?
RLDCD is for everyone who has been marginalized by racism, economic hardship, or cultural differences.
Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for people of color to thrive and to build community.
I want to bring together groups of people from across the country to provide them with the support and resources they need to thrive in a diverse, inclusive, and resilient society.
I also want to build a community of people of all backgrounds to inspire each other.
How can I get involved?
It’s very easy.
I’ve created a list of organizations to help you get involved.
Just click on any of the organizations and find a list on our website.
We need your support to hire a CEO.
Why do I have to get involved to start a nonprofit?
We want to be sure we can recruit a CEO for Rural Leadership Investments Corporation (RLCI).
I’m so excited to work with you!
We have a few key things in common.
We both are people who have experienced discrimination and racism.
We are both women.
And we’re both looking for a way to support our communities.
The RLDDC Foundation is dedicated to creating opportunities for all people of diverse backgrounds to thrive.
RLCIs a nonprofit organization.
